Bridge For
Beginners
A First Course Requiring
No Experience
Tuesdays -10:00 A.M. - Begins October 7
,2008
If you have
wondered why so many people are addicted to the game of bridge, this first
course may give you some clues to its endless challenges and allure. Bridge is
a game of intelligence and imagination, but it cannot be played without knowing
the fundamentals. This course introduces the language of bridge and the
essential elements of the game. It will take students to the level where they
will begin to know if they have a feel for the game and a desire to learn more
and play. Previous experience with other card games will prove helpful but is
not essential.
After completing
the course, a student should be able to play and enjoy social bridge with friends
and family and take the first steps into duplicate bridge.
